Public Services Mission
The Public Services Department is responsible for six divisions including Code Compliance, Materials Recovery Recycling, Property Maintenance, Sanitation, Wastewater and Water Operations. The Public Services Department consists of 78 dedicated employees.
The Department of Public Services is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the city’s residents, businesses and visitors by providing services that promote public health, personal safety and economic growth. Our mission is accomplished through the prudent use of resources, technology, innovations and teamwork.

City Launches Emergency Notification System
The City of North Augusta has implemented an Emergency Notification System to help keep you informed of emergency situations or hazards that could affect your health or safety.

Blue Bag Enrollment
North Augusta is making a change to its Blue Bag Recycling Program to better serve you! Starting January 1st, 2017, the blue bag program will be available by subscription. If you wish to enroll, make the pledge, start participating and partner with North Augusta to better the environment!
Enrolled customers will continue to receive a quarterly delivery of blue bags just as before. Only recyclable items should be placed in the bag. For more information on recycling see below.
